How songs work

Money questions

What hosts ask about paying, and what we don’t charge for.

Ask us something else
Is it really free?

Sending is. Sharing the link, collecting replies and seeing your headcount cost nothing, for as many parties as you like. What we make for you uses credits: the song, the invite designs and the party video. Your first song is free.

What’s a credit?

Credits pay for what we make for you. A personalised song is one credit, and so is a custom design made from your description. In the chat, the song, two invite designs and the party video together are 4 credits, or 3 with your free first song; a party video on its own is 3. One credit is £4.99; four are £14.97, so the fourth is free. Credits never expire. Read more about credits.

Is my first song really free?

Yes. Every account gets one personalised song free. We make a set number of free songs each day, and only a few on each internet connection or in each browser, so yours may sometimes have to wait. It stays on your account until you use it. After that, a song costs one credit. Read how songs work.

What if a song comes out wrong?

If a song can’t be made, your credit (or free song) comes straight back, so trying again costs nothing extra. If something’s wrong with a song we made, tell us and we’ll put it right. If you’d just like a different take, that costs a credit. Read what happens if a song goes wrong.

Is anything added at checkout?

No. You see the full price before you pay, and nothing is added at checkout. Read about payments and refunds.

How do you make money if sending is free?

The things we make for you, like the song, and labelled (Ad) gift ideas guests may see after they reply. We may earn a commission when someone buys. Nothing is shown before a guest replies.
